About the Lake Wilderness Preservation Association or (LWPA)

Our Mission:

n To improve and promote the safety, health and environment of Lake Wilderness and its watershed.

n To increase the community’s awareness of the ecology of Lake Wilderness and its watershed.

Our Activities:

n Perform annual clean-ups in and around the lake.

n Provide education to lake users on prevention of spreading noxious and invasive aquatic plants.

n Assist with mapping treatment locations and problem areas by surveying the lake.

n Act to help preserve native wildlife in and around the lake.
